The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E all-electric SUV​ was designed to be fully electric and zero-emission from the start – it’s coming to Europe in early 2021. The Mustang Mach-E brings the freedom, performance and iconic style of the world’s best-selling sports car to clients who now buy all-electric cars.

This first-ever SUV in the Mustang range is equipped with an efficient and economical all-electric engine/transmission. The range includes a single-engine rear-wheel-drive model and a twin-engine four-wheel-drive model.


The new chassis designed by Ford Team Edison takes full advantage of the performance-enhancing weight distribution and torque provided by the all-electric transmission.

You can choose from either a 288-cell Standard battery with a capacity of 68 kWh or a 376-cell Extended Range battery with a capacity of 88 kWh. The lithium-ion battery is placed in the middle of the car under the floor between the axles. The batteries were tested in up to 40 degrees below zero and are protected from collisions inside a damp-proof waterproof case. The advanced active liquid heating and cooling system keeps the battery temperature constant and guarantees the best possible battery performance in extreme conditions.

The new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT ‑ model is four-wheel drive and has an Extended Range battery as standard. The model has a power output of 487 hp, a torque of 860 Nm and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds. The all-wheel-drive system distributes torque independently to the front and rear axles, which improves acceleration and manoeuvrability.


The electric drive system provides up to 610 km of electric range for the rear-wheel-drive Ford Mustang Mach-E and up to 540 km for the four-wheel-drive (WLTP). The Intelligent Range feature estimates the remaining distance based on the driver’s previous driving style and weather forecasts. The estimation can be greatly improved by the pooled data collection from other Ford electric car users who have given permission to share their data.

Ford offers Mustang Mach-E buyers an optional Ford Connected Wallbox charger that makes home charging faster, smarter and more comfortable. The wall charger is available in 7.4 and 11 kW versions and charges the Mustang Mach-E battery from 10% charge to 80% in about six hours.

The Mustang Mach-E also comes with fast DC charging. With an IONITY charger of up to 150 kW, the rear-wheel-drive Mustang Mach-E Extended Range battery can charge enough battery power for an average of 119 kilometres in about 10 minutes.

The new Ford Mustang Mach-E’s advanced technologies deliver the most comfortable and secure experience ever. The new generation SYNC infotainment system makes it possible to change more than 80 settings. The conversational speech recognition feature understands 15 European languages. It allows you to control a wide range of functions from entertainment and navigation features.

Pre-installed free Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work wirelessly. The 15.5-inch Full HD touchscreen displays information in a clear and easy-to-learn format. Wireless charging for smartphones is also standard.

SYNC also improves driver safety with network-integrated navigation. Real-time and predictive traffic information is provided by TomTom,  and Garmin‘s cloud-based routing ensures that the driver is always offered the most efficient and safe route to their destination. The new-generation SYNC can also tell drivers where and when to stop charging during the trip, as well as provide real-time information on charging station availability and pricing.

For the interior, Ford’s designers offer SUV-like spaces for five passengers and their luggage. Behind the rear seats is a 402-litre boot that can be expanded to 1,420 litres. The premium B&O sound system includes soundbar-type front speakers seamlessly integrated above the ventilation nozzles.

The Standard battery of the rear-wheel-drive Ford Mustang Mach-E has 269 hp and the Extended Range battery has 294 hp and 430 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 to 6.2 seconds.

The four-wheel-drive Ford Mustang Mach-E has a standard battery of 269 hp and an Extended Range battery of 351 hp with a torque of 580 Nm. The car goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 to 5.6 seconds.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition ‑ is a four-wheel-drive model with an Extended Range battery as standard. The all-electric car has an output of 351 hp, a torque of 580 Nm and an acceleration of 0-100 km / h in 5.1 seconds.

Initially, the new Ford Mustang Mach-E all-electric SUV car will be sold in four versions:

Mustang Mach-E RWD Standard Range: from 56.782 euros with a range up to 440 km.

RWD Long Range: from 64.190 euros with a range up to 610 km.

AWD Standard Range: from 63.684 euros with a range up to 400 km.

Mustang Mach-E AWD Long Range: from 72.546 euros with a range up to 540 km.
